DFP anguished over restrictions in Srinagar
Condoles Gowhar Khan of Chanapora

Srinagar, Dec 22 : Expressing anger and anguish over imposition of restrictions in the Srinagar city, almost on weekly basis, Jammu Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party has said that restricting people to their houses is shameful and inhuman.
A Freedom Party statement said that on one hand Kashmiri people are being massacred, even their women are being killed and if people want to raise their voice against innocent killings, they are being restricted to their houses by imposing curfew like restrictions.
Not allowing people to offer their religious obligations gives an idea of the dark ages, but in Kashmir such restrictions are imposed in the name of “law and order” which is ironic.
Freedom party strongly condemned the imposition of curfew like restrictions in Srinagar almost after every week. The party said that the alarming situation of Kashmir must awaken the democracy loving powers of the world and they must come and assess it to foil the Indian efforts of deception.
Meanwhile, Jammu Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party has condoled Gowhar Khan of Chanapora, Srinagar on the sad demise of his elder brother, Mairaj ul din. A party delegation led by senior leader Engineer Farooq Khan visited the residence of Gowhar Khan and exhibited solidarity with the bereaved family. The delegation praised the role of Gowhar Khan as among the first activists of the freedom movement. The delegation prayed for the deceased soul. (KNS)
