Express grief over loss of lives in Reasi due to House Collapse

Srinagar, Dec 21: Addressing Party Workers of Larkipora, Shahbad Bocks, Dooru and Verinag Towns at Khanabal today, J& K Pradesh Congress Committee President G A Mir lashed out at ruling PDP-BJP coalition for failing to address genuine concerns of the People, as a result people were facing lot of hardships in every respect.

G A Mir also blamed the Govt for being insensitive to people’s Problems and advised the Govt to concentrate on genuine issues concerning people rather than making tall claims about development of State and People.

The Party Workers and Delegates in the meeting apprised the President of the day today problems arising in the valley such as erratic power supply, non availability of essentials, lack of development and sought immediate end to the issues.

Speaking on the occasion G A Mir while blaming the Govt said that the process of developmental has come to standstill, although the Govt is making tall claims day in and day out with regard to developmental, but visibly there were no development taking place, anywhere, on the ground.

Hesaid mere issuing statements won’t serve any purpose which amounts to create confusion among the people in order to divert the attention from the failures of the Govt.

G A Mir said the problems confronting people must be addressed by adding top priority to them to ensure their resolution, ensuing that people get some respite from the harsh winter
Adding that PDP BJP regime is discriminating with people under the garb of development,

GA Mir blamed the coalition partners for accommodating blue eyed persons in respect of development, employment and other facilities, as a result common people continue to suffer, which is very unfortunate.

He urged upon the Govt to ensure adequate facilities to people and ensure that people do not suffer on account of electricity, essentials etc.

On this occasion G A Mir expresses deep sorrow over the loss of five precious due to house collapse at Panassi in Reasi today. G A Mir described the incident as very unfortunate.

Heoffered condolences to bereaved family and sympathized with them.

He also emphasized that victims be provided full compensation. (KNS)
