Srinagar, Dec 12: Renowned social and political activist Abdul Hamid Malik during his tour to outside state met president of National Farmers Labour Association Mr Shiv Kumar Sharma alas Kakaji in Delhi. Issues relating to farmers of Jammu and Kashmir like, waiving off debts of farmers, establishment of government mandies in every district of the state, minimum selling prices for apples to be set, less involvement of commission agents in apple industry, an association of famers at district level to be formed, were discussed. Kakaji assured the full support to the farmers of Jammu and Kashmir on priority. He suggested setting up district level committee in the state which may form a state level committee, regarding which a nominal committee will address a press conference in Jammu very soon.
