Srinagar, Dec 09: Minister for Revenue and Rehabilitation Ab. Rahman Veeri inaugurated Kissan Mela organised by department of Horticulture in Khiram Srihama, today.
Present on the occasion were DC Anantnag Mohammad Younus Mallik, SSP Anantnag Mohd Altaf Khan, Deputy Director Horticulture, Mohd Yousuf Dar, Chief Horticulture Officer, Mohd Yasin Malik, Horticulture development officer, Madam Lubna, other district officers of different departments, employees of chos office and respectables of Khiram and adjacent areas.
Among beneficiaries more than ten lack subsidy was distributed by the Chief guest, Ab. Rahman Veeri.
Chief Horticulture officer, Mohd Yasin Mallik deliberated upon new trends of Apple Valley Village.
Deputy Director, Mohd Yousuf Dar urged Growers to benefit from different schemes of deptt.
DC Anantnag Mohammad Younus Mallik while addressing said administration is trying its best to develop this village as Apple Valley and urged Growers to make best use of technology.
The minister during his address highlighted Govt initiatives for the benefit of public. The minister lauded role of chief Horticulture officer Anantnag and other officers of deptt.
Horticulture development officer, khoveripora Madam Lubna thanked the guests.
