Srinagar, Dec 1: The constituent of Geelani led Hurriyat, Kashmir Tehreek-e-Khawateen Friday staged a protest demanding immediate shifting of Kashmiri prisoners languishing in state and outside jails of India to Kashmir Valley.
The women activists led by Zamrooda Habib assembled here in Press Enclve Srinagar to register the protest.
They condemned the thrashing of Kashmiri prisoners in Tihar Jail.
“Kashmir prisoners languishing in outside jails are being harassed. They should not only shifted to Kashmir but also be released,” the protesters said. (CNS)
