Team of doctors constituted for Hepatitis control in Warwan

 

Kishtwar, Dec 12: Deputy Commissioner, Angrez Singh Rana constituted a three-member team of doctors to take remedial measures for controlling Hepatitis in Warwan.

The directions, in this regard according to GNS, were given by Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to redress the Hepatitis epidemic in Warwan to avoid any casualty to human life.

The Epidemic Control team comprising Dr. J. P. Singh, State Epidemiologist (DHS Jammu), Dr V. K. Pandita, Physician Specialist CMO office Kishtwar, Dr. Arif, Medical Officer Kishtwar and Ashwani Kumar (Lab. Assistant DH Kishtwar) have been asked to visit the affected areas of Warwan within two days and take necessary steps to control the disease.

The DDC further directed the team to submit a detailed report to the Directorate of Health Services for framing a strategic policy to avoid and deal effectively with such epidemics in future. (GNS)
