Three soldiers including a Major killed in cross border firing

Rajouri, Dec 23, CNS: At least three soldiers including a Major were killed when Pakistani troopers resorted to indiscriminate firing at Brat Galla Sector of Keeri Rajouri on Saturday.

    Army sources said that during the cross border mortar shelling and firing, three soldiers were killed. Another sources said that trio were killed while trying to foil an infiltration bid.

    The deceased were identified as Major Prafulla, Sepoy Pargarh and Sepoy Gurmeet Singh. Lance Naik Gurmeet Singh suffered injuries and is out of danger, soruces added.

    Pertinently, ADG P Indian Army in its latest tweet on December 21 claimed that Indian army conducted successful surgical strike on launchpads across the border.

     “#IndianArmy successfully conducted surgical strikes on terror launchpads across the LoC in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir(PoK) using ground forces, inflicting cant casualties on terrorist which was an unprecented action,” he tweeted.  (CNS)
