Srinagar, Jan 16: Three border security men were injured and a vehicle damaged in a fire mishap near Nadihal Bridge in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Tuesday.

Reports reaching GNS said that the vehicle (Gypsy) of 5 sector BSF skidded off the road and over turned near the Nadhial Bridge. Soon after the vehicle turned turtle, it caught fire and caught the attention of some people (passersby) and tried to douse off the flames.

In the meantime, a police team also reached to the site and doused off the flames.

In the incident, three BSF men sustained injuries and the vehicle damaged in the mishap.

The incident occurred today afternoon when the vehicle was on the way to Handwara from Baramulla.

A police officer concerned while confirming the incident said that a case has been registered and investigations in to the case has been launched. (GNS)
