Using brute force has become a norm in Kashmir: DFP
Pays tributes to Shaheed Khalid and Shaheed Farheen

Srinagar, Jan 10: Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) has strongly condemned the gruesome act of murdering Khalid Ahmad Dar of Khudwani Kulgam at the hands of Indian forces. The party also paid rich and glowing tributes to Shaheed Farheen Ahmad Wani of Wanigund Khudwani who achieved martyrdom during a gunfight in Kokernag area.

DFP said the bloodbath of Kashmiri youth continues unabated under one pretext or other by the men in uniform who are not being asked questions about using blind forces against the unarmed protesters. This unaccountability has encouraged the armed forces who have spread a reign of terror across the valley.

DFP also paid glowing tributes to those martyred in Chadoora Budgam recently and Larnoo, Kokernag on Tuesday. The party said that Kashmiri youth are paying priceless sacrifices for a great cause and their sacrifices are the assets of the Kashmir struggle. It is our collective responsibility to safeguard the great sacrifices of the brave hearts.

DFP also condemned the use of brute force on the peaceful protestors at Chadoroa some days back and Larnoo, Kokernag only yesterday. The party said that showering pellets and bullets on unarmed protesters only proves that men in uniform have been given full freedom to crush the people of Kashmir and their voice.

The DFP statement said that instead of resolving Kashmir issue as per the aspirations of people of Kashmir, New Delhi has adopted an oppressive and stubborn approach by use military might and chocking all space for peaceful means. This situation has pushed the Kashmiri youth to the wall and they are taking the path of gun. (KNS)
