‘CM directs me to boost both winners’

Budgam, Jan 13: Vice Chairman of JK Cements, Er Nazir Ahmad Yatoo Saturday felicitated twin International Karate-Kickboxing gold medal winners at Townhall in Beerwah.
Sirhan-Ul-Islam, 6 years old and 3rd standard student and Yasmeena Yousuf, 16 a 10th class student both from Beerwah district Budgam bagged gold medals at the recently held International Karate-Kickboxing championship in Delhi.
Yatoo in a statement issued to KNS, while applauding them presented them with trophies and cash awards.
Speaking on the occasion, Yatoo said that he has come on Chief Minister’s advice to boost both the winners. 
He said that the both have not only are the pride of district Budgam but also for the entire Jammu and Kashmir for bringing laurels to the state.
Yatoo said that the duo would continue to excel in the field of sports and become inspiration to other students to take active part in sports related activities.
He further said that the present government was committed to provide all the basic facilities for sports loving youth to promote sports culture in the state.
Meanwhile, soon after the felicitation ceremony, Yatoo held a public darbar at Town hall where he gave patient hearing to the grievances of the local gathering and assured them all their genuine demands would be taken up with the concerned to get them addressed. (KNS)
