Army trooper injured in border firing

 

Poonch, March 15: A soldier was injured after hit by a bullet fired by Pakistani army along Line of Control (LoC) in Balakote sector of Poonch district of Jammu region on Wednesday.

A police official told GNS that the army man Samer Subba received a bullet wound in his right leg after Pakistani army opened fire on Indian army posts in forwards areas of Dharti village in Mendhar.

The soldier was immediately evacuated and shifted to nearby military hospital for treatment. (GNS)
