Government reduces departmental promotion quota of qualified employees by 20 per cent
Srinagar, Mar 3: Highly qualified employees of Department of School Education Kashmir are up in arms against Jammu Kashmir Government for reducing their departmental promotion quota by 20 per cent.
The employees working in the department as Lab Bearers and Lab Assistants with PG B.Ed and M.Ed Degrees suffered great injustice after government reduced their
departmental promotion quota from 25% to 5%.
These employees while seeking the intervention of Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and Education Minister Syed Altaf Bukhari told CNS that in all other Government Departments the promotion quota is 25% while they have been targeted for the fault of their none.
“This is totally injustice and government needs to revoke the order without any delay. If Government doesn’t oblige, we will be left with the only option to knock at the doors of Court of Law or protest on roads,” they said. (CNS)
