Srinagar, Jan 9: Civil Secretariat Non Gazetted Employees Union (CSNGEU), Ghulam Rasool Mir on Tuesday asked Jammu and Kashmir Bank to provide ‘rebate’ or lest the employees will not “forcibly” get salary through it.

“Employees’ salary gets deposited in Jammu and Kashmir Bank but no rebate is provided by the bank instead higher interest rate is charged from employees on loans,” Mir told news agency GNS.

He said if politician draw house building advance or other such advances, only 2% is charged while J&K bank gives loans at 4% interest rate to its employees.

“I urge all employees to work together and we will hold a meeting to decide and deposit salary in any bank which provide rebate and we will not forcibly get salary through J&K Bank,” he said, and asked the J&K bank to provide the rebate or “we say goodbye to it.” (GNS)
