Anantnag, March 08: To ensure synergy and to adopt latest SOP in handelling law and order situations, Anantnag police organises three days joint (Police and CRPF) Law and Order training camp at District Police Line’s Anantnag.
The Anantnag Police have come up with a special training sessions for J&K Police and CRPF personnels handle law and order situations, stone pelting and unlawful gathering. The 3 days joint training program was inaugurated by the DIG CRPF Mr Mohsin Shahidi in presence of DIG South Kashmir Range Sh Amit Kumar IPS. The inauguration session was attended by officers from both the Police Forces. SSP Anantnag Shri Altaf Ahmed Khan KPS introduced the officers and participants about the purpose of training and its contents. SSP Anantnag stresses on the importance of human life and handelling of law and order without causing serious injuries to the general public/agitated mob.
On the occasion DIG SKR Sh Amit Kumar IPS said, “our priority is always to protect the lives of citizens in every situation”. We should always keep a human approach towards agitating mob and it is our duty to protect the life of civilians while dealing with such situations.
He added that the situations are changing continuously across the state and therefore, it is necessary impart special training where the Police personnels will be trained to tackle issues related to changing law and order problems.
The inaugural session was attended by Superintendent of Police Hqrs. Anantnag Shri Tahir Ashraf KPS, 2 ic 40 BN CRPF Sh Rajesh Kumar , Dy. Commandant 40 Bn CRPF Sh Rajpal. Dysp DAR DPL Anantnag Shri Tanveer Ahmad KPS, DySP Hqrs Anantnag Shri Mohd Yousuf and other senior officers of CRPF and police.
