Says freedom struggle can’t be suppressed by such tactics
Srinagar, Mar 15: Terming the questioning of Syed Salah-ud-din’s family as ‘revengeful’, the United Jihad Council (UJC) on Thursday said that the freedom struggle can’t be suppressed by such tactics.
In an e-mailed statement issued to KNS, the UJC spokesman Syed Sadaqat Hussain quoted its General Secretary, Sheikh Jameel-ur-Rehman said, “The tactics being used against Syed Salah-ud-din’s family can’t deter him to pursue the struggle. He is the heir of lakhs of martyrs. The tactics being used by India won’t succeed.”
Sheikh condemned the arrest and harassment of UJC chief’s family members. “The revengeful tactics are being used against the people of Kashmir including the youth and the leadership but despite that the struggle would continue at any cost,” he said. (KNS)
