Women’s Day Celebrated In Baramulla

Baramulla, Mrch 08: The International Women’s Day was celebrated in North Kashmir, Baramulla today

The Group Discussion was organised by The Creative Circle–a Self Help Group (SHG) of young people from the valley at Lazeezo Cafe.

Young men & women from all walks of life participated in the event with fervour & zeal.

“When we step out with the idea of doing something different that’s where we convey them yes we can & have the power & potential of doing everything” said one of the participant, Romana Rafiq.

Rapper Ashu & Moin Sufi–the famed artists from the valley performed on the occasion & enthralled the audience with the singles that were tailor made for the occasion.

“Lets open spaces, lets discuss the issues confronting the youth of the valley, & let it be done by youth themselves.The young never need any crutches” said Owais Nanda–Coodinator of The Creative Circle.

In a note of thanks & amid rousing cheering, Nanda conveyed that The Creative Circle would come up with similar events & workshops in future too.
