Mirwaiz pray for departed souls


Srinagar, Apr 07: The incarcerated patron of Awami Action Committee and APHC Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has expressed grief and sorrow over the sad demises of the several party members and activists.
Condoling the sad demise with Hakeem Masood of Bagwanpora Lal Bazar over the demise of his mother and Mehraj ud Din Bazaz of Nowshera Srinagar, Mirwaiz prayed for the departed souls. Pertinent to mention the brother of late Mehraj ud Din, Shaheed Ghulam Rasool Bazaz is among the 70 martyrs who attained martyrdom in Hawal massacre during the funeral of AAC founder Shaheed-e-Milat (RA).
Mirwaiz also condoles the sad demises of Wali Muhammad Zaroor cousin of Abdul Qayoom Zaroo secretary Nowhatta Halqa, wife of late Abdul Satar Mir former Halqa President Fathe Kadal and sister of Ghulam Qadir Sheikh (Gasha) of Mahraj Gunj.
Mirwaiz while condoling the sad demise with bereaved families’ prayers for the departed souls and forbearance of the family members.
Meanwhile, several delegations on directions of Mirwaiz visited the bereaved families to condole the sad demise and deliver the message of Mirwaiz. The delegations were led by Ghulam Qadir Beigh, Molvi Muhammad Yaseen Shah, Sufi Mushtaq Ahmad, Muhammad Sidiq Hazaq and Muhammad Yousuf Bhat. (KNS)
