JAMMU, APRIL 04 : Chairman Police Recruitment Board SDRF (Cts.) has informed the candidates of Jammu province and migrant candidates, who had applied for the post of constable in SDRF BNS under Advertisement notice issued by PHQ vide their No. pers-A-Aux-lll/Police/03/233/40355-474 dated 24.08.2012 that their forms have been digitized and a link has been created to enable them to deposit their examination fee of rupees 200 through use of the service of common services centers both through online/offline mode. The candidates can deposit their application fee through Bank Challan which they will generate after logging provided on JK Police website. The detail of designated A/c No. will be available on pre- printed Challan for both offline and on line.

The candidates have been asked check to the personal details from the provided link and confirm their details. In case of any discrepancy the same should be brought into the notice of Recruitment Cell constituted in ZAPHQ Jammu on office Telephone number (0191-2458329) within (07) days of publication of this notification.

The department is undertaking the transparent Recruitment process (TRP) for the said test, which is a technology driven recruitment policy and envisages inter-alia conduct of the PST and PET on scientific lines with the use of RFID Chip timing technology for conduct of endurance run in the physical efficiency test to ensure accuracy and tamperproof conduct of run, Standardized height and chest (with expansion) devices with the digital display monitors or display to the candidates and interfere with computer application for automatic data entry into data base, use of biometric devices to eliminate duplication impersonation and use of CCTV technology to Video graph various stages of recruitment and thereby maintain a backup of record and track of the activities at the recruitment centres. Long jump shall also be measured through TRP by engagement of laser technology.

Last date for submission of fee through both online/offline mode shall be within 15 days after activation of fee link which will commence from April 10, 2018. No fee shall be entertained after expiry of stipulated date of publication of this notificationThe candidate shall have to appear in the prescribed tests at their own expenses on the date and venue to be communicated by the police Recruitment Board, through press, electronic media, Police website or any other means.

Board has further informed that the terms and conditions enumerated in advertisement notice shall remain unaltered. This notification is only for the candidates appearing for the test in Jammu province, including Migrant candidates, whereas for Kashmir province, Leh and Kargil based candidates, separate notification shall be issued in due course of time, immediately after the completion of digitization of application forms of the applicants. Through the said notification the candidates of Kashmir province and Leh and Kargil will be asked to check their personal details and submission of fee on the pattern mentioned in the case of candidates of Jammu Province.

PST/PET in respect of candidates of Jammu province will commence in the first week of May, 2018. Similarly PST/PET in respect of candidates from Kashmir province, Leh & Kargil is likely to commence in the last week of May, 2018. However, these timelines are tentative. The exact district wise dates shall be issued in subsequent notifications. Any candidate from Leh & Kargil, who desire to appear for PST/PET from Jammu or Srinagar may inform in advance at the Recruitment Cell constituted in ZAPHQ Jammu.
