Differently-abled boy handed over to his family by Budgam Police

 

Srinagar, April 10: Today at 1500 hours, a mentally challenged boy aged around 11 years was found roaming in town Budgam. SHO, PS Budgam on seeing the boy without attendant, took the boy to his office to find his legal heirs. The boy being a minor was made comfortable & an effort was made to seek information from him about his parentage or whereabouts etc. It was found that the boy was differently abled and could not speak.

Immediately his photographs were circulated on social media to ascertain his identity and it was found that the boy namely Mohammad Musa so of Sheikh Saleem resident of Soura Srinagar, a student of Life Help School Hyderpora.

The family members & officials of the school were contacted and a reunion was facilitated by P/S Budgam.

Promptness of police in facilitating the reunion was hailed by people especially the family of the said boy & school management.
