Srinagar, April 18:Grievance Cell which has been put in place at PCR Kashmir in November 2015 is a robust public redressal mechanism where public complaints are looked into and redressed in a time bound manner.
It is aimed at providing the citizens with a platform for the redressal of their grievances. It primarily covers the receipt and processing of complaints from citizens and to ascertain the status of redressal of their grievance and to take further necessary action.
Since November 2015 to March 2018, 4644 complaints/grievances were received, out of which 3729 were redressed through the concerned quarters. These grievances were pertaining to PDD, PHE, FS&CA, SMC, Health, Fire & Emergency, Forest, Mechanical Engineering Department, Education, Revenue, Wildlife Department etc.
