Staff is risking their lives to serve patients
Srinagar, Apr 06: In an emergency meeting held under the President, Society of Dental Surgeons, J&K, (SDSJK) Dr Imtiyaz Banday the association has strongly condemned the pathetic behavioir of various health administrators in not providing emergency transport services to the medical staff during current crisis.
It is pertinent to mention here that the staff is risking their lives to serve the patients and various displeasing incidents have already happened across valley while reaching to hospital.
It is disgraceful and deplorable that staff has to beg administrators for transport facilities while as on the contrary the authorities should have a clear cut directions to resolve such crisis once for all. Such behaviour needs to be strongly condemned.
By executing such unprofessional and inhuman behaviour the administrators have tarnished the ethics of administration.
SDSJK hails those few administrators who understand the gravity of situation and are concerned about the safety of their staff and are utilising transport services for the smooth functioning of their institutes.
SDSJK is aghast by this inhuman behaviour of various administrators and stress Director Health Services, Kashmir Dr Saleem-u-Rehman and Health Minister Bali Bhagat to intervene and issue directions of smooth transport services for health personnel wherever the condition is not suitable for plying private vehicles.
