JKLF chairman condemns zonal president whose remand has been extended for five more days

Expresses condolence to Safi family, at the demise of Ghulam Mohammad Safi sahib’s wife


Srinagar, 23  April: Chairman JKLF Muhammad Yasin Malik has strongly condemned the prolonged incarceration of JKLF zonal president Noor Muhammad kalwal who is lodged at police station Kothibagah from last many days . Noor sahib was today again presented before court which extended his remand for five more days. He has been again shifted to police station Kothibagh.

JKLF chairman while condemning the spree of arrests, nocturnal raids, slapping of PSA on political activists and other oppressive tactics of police said that during recent days an ugly upsurge is seen in these undemocratic acts while is highly condemnable . He said that police has actually declared a war on peaceful activists and resistance camp and young boys are being pushed to the wall, which is actually act of promoting violence in Kashmir and highly condemnable.

Meanwhile JKLF chairman has expressed his heartfelt grief and sorrow over the demise of the wife of Tehreek-i- Hurriyat leader Jenab Ghulam Mohammad Safi. While paying rich tributes to the departed soul, JKLF chairman said that her contribution in resistance movement will be always remembered. JKLF chairman while praying for her heavenly abode, Also prayed for the Sabr-i-jamil of his bereaved family.
