Rich tributes paid to great Martyr S. Hameed on his martyrdom day…..
Srinagar, 18 April: Chairman JKLF Muhammad Yasin Malik has strongly condemned the prolonged incarceration of JKLF Zonal President Noor Muhammad Kalwal, deputy chief organizer Siraj Ud din Mir and district president Bara mullah Abdul Rashid Magloo who are languishing in police station Kothibagh, Police station Kreeri and sub jail Bara mullah respectively. Noor Muhammad Kalwal was arrested by police on 6th April 2018, at Maisuma, Siraj ud din Mir was arrested in a nocturnal raid by police at his residence Karhama Tangmarg on 2nd April 2018, while as Abdul Rashid Magloo was arrested from his residence on 29th March 2018. Noor Muhammad Kalwal was bailed out by court yesterday but as he stepped outside central jail Srinagar, he was re-arrested by Miasma police and presented before court today which has extended his police custody till 23rd April 2018. Similarly the judicial remand of incarcerated Siraj ud din Mir and Abdul Rashid Magloo has also been extended till 23rd April 2018.
While condemning this police highhandedness against peaceful political activists and leaders and use of ugly police tactics to prolong their incarceration, JKLF chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik has said that on one hand rulers and their authorities brag about giving space to peaceful political activities but on the other hand these people are trying every foul tactic to choke every little space on political leaders and activists. Yesterday to visit a bereaved family at Chatergul Kangan we had to travel secretly and after reaching there an exemplary peaceful program was organized but still police arrested us and barred our from going to another bereaved family. This is the reality of their tall claims of democracy and freedom which they are using from many decades in Jammu Kashmir, stated JKLF chairman. He said that from last many days, police is trying all its deceit to prolong the incarceration of Noor Muhammad Kalwal, Siraj Ud din Mir and Abdul Rashid Magloo which is highly condemnable. By pushing peaceful political activists and young boys to the wall, rulers and their forces are actually promoting violence which is highly condemnable.
While condemning the assault on students in Sopore, Islamabad, Pulwama, Bandipora and at many other places in Kashmir in which many students including girl students have sustained injuries, JKLF chairman said that trigger happy Indian forces and police only know to kill and injure people that is ordered by their political masters.
Meanwhile JKLF chairman has paid rich tributes to great freedom fighter and leader martyr S. Hameed on his martyrdom day today. Terming S.Hameed as a selfless person, a courageous warrior and a dedicated leader, JKLF chairman said that he was martyred by SOG terrorists in custody and his killing also reminds us of the ugly Indian repression. While praying for his heavenly abode , JKLF chairman expressed solidarity with his bereaved family.
