Justice for Asifa: Peaceful Protest held in Shopian

Shopian, April 15:

A silent peaceful candle light vigil was held at Gole Chowk Shopian in honour of 8 year old girl Asifa Bano who was brutally raped & murderd in kathua. Many Student activists, journalists, traders fedetration of shopian & othet influential personalities of shopian participated in the protest.
They demanded that whosoever involved in this inhumane,shameful & henios crime of Asifa must be hanged publically.
Students Activist Syed Tajamul Imran Said that we support Talib & condemn every kind of harrassment on them.
“ Every attack on Talib Hussain is attack on humanity as talib has raised the issue from day one and we condemn recent attacks by BJP and RSS on him.“We must stand and countinue our protests till the culprits will not be hanged.” He further added.
Another Student Activist Gazi Muzamil who is also the vice President of All J&K Students Union (AJKSU) said that “those involved in Asifa’s brutal murder and rape must be publicly hanged so that such kind of acts will not happen in our society in future.
Remembering Asia, Neelofar and Victims of kunanposhpora Gazi said, “We have not forgot & will not remain silent untill justice is delivered to the victims. ”
However members from Traders body, Civil Society, students and people from other walks of life joined as well.Later they dispersed peacefully
