Pulwama, Apr 21: At least three person suffered bullet injuries after army allegedly fired upon protesters in Hergam Karimabad area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Reports said that Army had arrived in the village to launch a cordon and search operation after getting inputs about the presence of militants there.
As the Forces started their operation, a large number of youth hit to roads and pelted stones on Army. Eyewitnesses said that army soldiers directly fired upon protesters, a claimed refuted by an official.
Hospital sources said they have received three persons with bullet injuries.
Reports said all the injured were shifted to Srinagar hospital. Hospital sources identified the injured as Faiz Farooq (13), Tanvir Ahmed Pandit and Sajad Ahmed Bhat. (CNS)
