Tral, Apr 19: A shutdown was observed in Tral town of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district for the second straight day on Thursday.
Eyewitnesses said that shopkeepers had opened their shops, however, group of youth took to roads and pelted stones on them, forcing them to shutdown their business. “The shutdown was enforced upon us,” said a shopkeeper who runs business at Bus Stand Tral.
Pertinently, on Wednesday, 50 female students of GDC Tral fainted during clashes with forces. The students were protesting against the Kathua rape and murder case. (CNS)
