Incident of beating a Kashmiri Girl is Shameful act & worrying factor.
Srinagar, May 12: General Secretary of Pradesh Congress Committee & MLA Bandipora Usman Majid has criticised the CM Mehbooba Mufti for making hollow commitments with the people while holding public darbars across the state.
Usman said, the commitments made by CM during her public darbars are only shown on papers as their exists nothing on ground. The fact is that some percentage of her commitments have been fullfilled by spending the money from yearly District Capex Budget plans rather than that money should have been allotted from Chief Minister’s Secretariat. The Planning Development and Monitoring Department has also totally failed in fullfillment of these commitments.
With regard to works executed through Rural Development Department under CM’s commitments in Bandipora is totally a fun with people as the yearly MGNREGA plan works were not executed and those funds were diverted for the execution of these CM’s committment works without accountability and transparency. This time my constituency people are suffering due to burden of MGNREGA liabilities & same is the case across the whole state, majid said.
MLA Bandipora said, what is the fun of holding these review meetings by Divisional commissioner and concerned Deputy Commissioners week by week regarding CM’s committments as this process is useless and just a wastage of time of Govt. Employees.
Meanwhile MLA Bandipora has strongly condemned the assault and thrashing Kashmiri Girl in New Delhi by the local group in south east Delhi’s Sunlight Colony.
Usman said that the way kashmiris are being treated outside the state by some goons is totally unacceptable and distinguish. He demanded safety of kashmiris outside the state. He said that the incident of beating a Kashmiri Girl is shameful act & a worrying factor. Such incidents are worrying and shall be probed.
He requested Dehli Chief Minister Arvinde Kejriwal & Home Minister Rajnath singh that the elements involved in beating & harassing the girl students should be dealt strictly.
