Administration chops off hollow chinar trees in Sumbla
Sumbal, May 30: The district administration Wednesday chopped off a couple of hollow Chinar trees in Sumbla area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district. The step was taken after the death of a local youth who dies on Tuesday after the branch of a hollow chinar tree fell upon him.
The Traders Federation Sumbal called off the strike after the administration decided to chop off hollow and decayed chinar trees.
Pertinently, Imtiyaz Ahmad Kumar of Asham Sonawari was killed yesterday after a strong windstorm hit the area. CNS
