JAMMU, MAY 21: Continuing with its efforts to enhance the facilities for police personnel and their families, Director General of Police, Dr. S.P. Vaid today inaugurated three facilities at Gulshan Ground, Jammu.
DGP inaugurated water bore-well with overhead tank having capacity of 4,40,000 liters per day. This will cater to requirement of 500 families and offices at Gulshan Ground and will solve the scarcity of water supply in the campus.
DGP along with the wards of police personnel inaugurated Upper Subordinate Quarter. He interacted with the families who thanked the DGP for undertaking, completing and commissioning of three facilities.
DGP later on inaugurated an NGO Mess-cum-accommodation. The facility has 58 rooms with attach bathroom and dining hall. The blocks with modern facilities have been constructed to suffice the requirements of the police personnel.
