‘Don’t be selective while condemning killings: Muslim League

Srinagar, May 9: Jammu Kashmir Muslim League Wednesday said that one should not be selective when it comes to condemning civilian killings.

“We express our deep anguish and grief over the death of a Chennai tourist but at the same time want to clear that one should not be selective as every murder is the murder of humanity,” League spokesperson Sajad Ayoubi said in a statement to CNS.

He said it is irony that those who are blowing the issue out of proportion are marinating criminal silence over the innocent killings in Kashmir. “The dual approach of Indian media and politicians is disgusting. They highlighted the death of tourist which is unfortunate and condemnable but never raised the issue regarding civilian killings in Kashmir. These opportunists pursue an agenda and that is to defame Kashmir Movement,” he said. (CNS)
