Srinagar May 1st: Renowned Political and Social Activist greeted people on Shab-e-Baraat and hoped that the auspicious occasion would be the harbinger of peace and development in the State.
In his message, Inam described the occasion as an opportunity to seek Allahâ s mercy and pray for peace and well-being of the entire humanity.
Inam UN Nabi said during the holly night of prayers we should vow to become passionate and work towards strengthening the bonds of brotherhood, love and amity among the people.
He also prayed for end to painful and vicious cycle of bloodshed which is almost on daily basis consuming the youth of Kashmir, with trigger happy forces killing many innocents.
He urged the Indian government to shun rigidity and take steps towards dialogue and stop this bloodshed.
Inam expressed displeasure over huge death count and hoped better sense would prevail on the state apparatus to end these ugly occurrences.
