Indo-Pak armies exchange fire in north Kashmir

 

Srinagar, May 12: India and Pakistan armies exchanged fire along Line of Control (LoC) in Uri sector of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district last night, officials said today.

A police official told GNS that the Pakistan troopers targeted army’s 12 Dogra posts at Kamalkote along the Line of Control on Friday night. “The Pakistan army started firing at around 10:00 pm and continued intermittently for more than an hour. The Indian army returned the fire.

The official said that there was no loss of life or injury to anyone in the firing. “The situation right now is normal,” he added. (GNS)
