Srinagar, May 29: Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) militant organisation on Tuesday late evening said that its cadres carried out a grenade attack on police station Kakapora in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
In a statement issued to GNS, the JeM claimed the responsibility for the attack and said that further details are awaited.
Earlier, SSP Pulwama Mohammad Aslam Choudary had said that a loud blast like sound has been heard near Police station Kakapora. Information is preliminary in nature.
“We are verifying the incident,” SSP had said. (GNS)
