SRINAGAR, MAY 31: Jammu and Kashmir Armed Police 12thBn. Zewan distributed uniform and stationary items among the students of Govt. Boys High School Balhama at a function held at Balhama Zewan here today. The items were distributed by Smt. Roshan Ara, Ex-Headmistress Govt. Boys High School Balhama Zewan in presence of Shri Abdul Rashid Bhat, SSP Commandant JKAP 12th Bn., staff members and respectable of the said village.

On this occasion Commandant JKAP 12th Bn. Shri Abdul Rashid Bhat advised the school children to excel in studies and extra-curricular activities. He impressed upon them to study with zeal and zest so that they can adopt any career of their choice which could give them work satisfaction.On this occasion Commandant JKAP 12th Bn. The CO assured the gathering that J&K Police has been organizing such events from time to time and will continue to support under privileged students in their educational endeavours. He emphasized the importance of good police public relationship and benefits of Civic Action Programme. He threw light on the programmes conducted by J&K Police under CAP from time to time.

Shri Mumtaz Hussain Bhat represented the village Balhama and Shri Gh. Nabi Khan I/c Headmaster also spoke on the occasion. They thanked J&K Police for undertaking such activities. They also highlighted the problems being faced by school children on account of accommodation. A cultural programme was presented by the school children on the occasion.

The function was attended by Dy.SP Shri Abdul Qayoom, Shri Nisar Ahmed and a large gathering of respectable of village Balhama and staff members of the school.
