Mirwaiz said that the people of Kashmir are engaged in a struggle based on the internationally accepted principal of Right to Self Determination and in order to crush this genuine struggle of the people the repressive measures used by the government of India are faced and fought with complete determination and unity by the people of Kashmir which he said, will bear fruit.

Mirwaiz said the it is a fact people of Kashmir have Rejected FEAR and have become resilient and Govts tactics of bullet and pellet, arresting people and leadership confining them in jails or houses, torture ,use of NIA, repeated restrictions and curfews and harassment and intimidation and other measures of pushing the youth to the wall have proved a complete failure. In fact all these have boomeranged upon the perpetrators.Mirwaiz said that besides resistance leadership every segment of society including lawyers, traders, students, businessmen, employees, and teachers have to share the responsibility to take the movement forward.
