‘Those who don’t maintain sale record will be punished’

Srinagar, May 09: A special team of drug department inspected dozens of medical shops in Zaingeer area of Sopore including Bomai Tujjar Shareef and Sello.
Shabir Pandir Yousuf Mohudin Feroz Ahmad Juneed Naseer and Shabir Ahmad were among the officials who inspected the medical shops.
According to KNS correspondent, Lateef Ahmad, sources said that five drug licenses were suspended for 7 to 8 days for not maintaining the psychotropic’s medicine sale record. 
Drug inspector Pattan, Shabir Ahmad Pandit told KNS that if any retailer will not maintain sale record, he will be punished under Drug and Cosmetic Act.
A senior drug official further told that if any Govt employ is running medical shop without drug license he will also be punished under the law. (KNS)
