Srinagar, May 05: chairman JKLF Muhammad Yasin Malik was arrested by police today and has been detained at police station Kothibagh. Police in large numbers cordoned the residence of Yasin sahib, arrested him and shifted him to police station Kothibagh. Also JKLF zonal president Noor Muhammad Kalwal who is in jail from last one month has been re-arrested by police after he was bailed out from Srinagar central jail. After re-arrest he too has been shifted to police station kothibagh.
While strongly condemning the arrest of JKLF chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik, re-arresting JKLF zonal president Noor Muhammad kalwla, ban on a press conference by JRL, and oppression unleashed by Indian occupational forces and police today in Srinagar in which many young boys embraced martyrdom including one innocent Adil Ahmad who was mercilessly crushed under a police vehicle, JKLF has said that trigger happy Indians have unleashed a reign of terror against Kashmiris which is crossing every limit now. JKLF said that oppression and suppression unleashed against Kashmiris is a glaring proof of Indian brutal occupation and its direct responsibility lies on the shoulders of pro-India Kashmiri politicians, assembly members, opposition and ruling regime who provide legal shelter to India trigger happy forces and police and in fact order these brutalities against Kashmiris. while paying rich tributes to martyrs who embraced martyrdom today in Srinagar , JKLF said that tyranny when increases is destined to vanish and as Indian oppression and tyranny is crossing every limit in Kashmir its end is also not far off ( Insha Allah). Expressing solidarity with photo journalists Farooq Ahmad khan, Javaid Dar, Umar Asif who sustained injuries today at Chahatbal while performing their duties JKLF has prayed almighty for their speedy recovery. Meanwhile paying rich tributes to its martyr, advocate peerzada iftikhar, JKLF said that martyrs laid down their lives for sacred cause of our freedom and it is our duty to safeguard these sacrifices. A JKLF delegation comprising of advocate Bashir Ahmad Butt,Ghulam Rasool Dar Eidi, , Muhammad Sideeq Shah, Gulzar Ahmad Pahalwan, Molvi Ramzan, Molvi Ab. Rashid,Nazir Ahmad and others visited the residence of martyr and paid glowing tributes to him. While paying tributes to the great martyr JKLF leaders said that martyr advocate Iftikhar laid down his life for the freedom of Jammu Kashmir. He was a gallant Mujahid and a true Muslim who showed no signs of fatigue during struggle and lay down his life in the way of Allah.
