Srinagar, May 14: Militant outfit Al-Umar Mujhadeen Monday criticized Pakistan former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for issuing a ‘misleading’ statement with regard to Mumbai terror attack.
“Nawaz Sharif has blamed Pakistan for Mumbai attack to appease India particularly it’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Sahri forgot that India has unleashed reign of terror in Kashmir,” Al-Umar Mujhadeen Chief Mushtaq Zargar told Kashmir based news agency CNS over phone. He said that Sharif is talking the language of India.
Claiming that he is calling from Doda, Zargar said that India arrested Ajmal Qasab from Nepal and to defame Pakistan, he was labeled as Mumbai attack mastermind and subsequently hanged. “Nawaz Sharif’s remarks that militants in Pakistan were behind Mumbai terror tack are out of context and far from truth. He is just appeasing Narendra Modi,” he said.
In an apparent reference to those who want to resolve Kashmir issue through dialogue, Mushtaq Zargar said that they are wasting their time as India is not sincere with regard to resolution of Kashmir issue.
“Those who want dialogue with India are wasting their time. India is not sincere and is buying time only. It understands the language of gun only and we will fight till India doesn’t vacate Kashmir,” Zargar said. (CNS)
