Police registers case, investigation started

Srinagar, May 10: A child died while two others sustained injuries in a road accident that took place in Khamoh area of Rafiabad in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday evening, police said.
A police spokesman said in Khamoh area of Baramulla district, a Tata Sumo vehicle bearing registration number JK05-6078 ramped over four minors, injuring them critically. 
“One among the injured later succumbed to his injuries who was identified as Mohsin Parvaiz (10 yrs), son of Parvez Ahmmad, resident of Khahmoh,” police said. 
The other three who were injured in the mishap were identified as Adil Ahmad Khan (5), 
Mohsim Ahmad Mir (6) and Sadaf Jan (6), police said.
After completion of medico legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites, police added.
Meanwhile, police has registered a case under FIR No 32-u/s 279, 337, 304A in PS Panzlaa and started further investigation in this regard. (KNS)
