Baramulla, May 07: Complete shutdown was being observed in Palhallan town and adjoining areas of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Monday following joint Resistance leadership call over the death of militants and civilians in Shopian gunfight of south Kashmir on Sunday.
Sources said that a complete shutdown was being observed in Palhalan , Pattan, Goshbugh, wanigam, Kreeri, Goshbugh, Lolipora, Magraypora and adjoining areas of the district Baramulla.
According to reports All Business establishments, offices, schools were closed as a precautionary measure and transport was off on the roads in Palhalan and its Adjoining areas.
Kashmir University examinations scheduled on Monday were also postponed.
Forces have been also deployed in parts of Baramulla district to prevent protests and stone pelting incidents.
