NC opens new office in Banihal
Banihal, May 05: Hitting out at PDP for facilitating direct RSS rule in Jammu and Kashmir, NC leader & district President Ramban Sajjad Shaheen said that “There is every apprehension of the BJP- lead government (centre) conspiring to trample the special identity of the state,” Shaheen said while addressing party functionaries and prominent party workers during the inauguration of party’s new office at Old bus stand Banihal.
“The ruling People’s Democratic Party was created to “destroy” National Conference soon after the passage of the autonomy resolution in the J&K Assembly, Shaheen said.
“(About) this ink-pot party (PDP), it is necessary to think where from it took the birth. The National Conference got the autonomy resolution passed in the Assembly and within months this new party came to the fore. The aim was to destroy National Conference but Allah saved us; otherwise they didn’t leave anything to see through the plan,” Shaheen said.
