Says will work for religious brotherhood, regional harmony
Srinagar, May 13: Soon after being appointed aas the state president of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Ravinder Raina on Sunday said that he will work for the accomplishment of the vision and mission of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
Talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS) over phone from New Delhi, Raina said, “My priority will be the accomplishment of the vision and mission of former Prime Minister Attal Bihari Vajpayee. I will work for the religious brotherhood, regional harmony, equitable regional development and a prosperous Jammu and Kashmir.”
He also said that he is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP President Amit Shah to discuss the organizational affairs, working of the PDP-BJP coalition government and prevailing situation in Jammu and Kashmir tomorrow.
However, the newly appointed state president refused to comment over the recent remarks of Speaker Legislative Assembly, Dr Nirmal Singh wherein he had accused Army of harassing people. (KNS)
