Srinagar, May 29: Women’s wing of Jammu Kashmir Salvation Movement Tuesday staged a protest demanding immediate release of political prisoners.

They demanded release of all political prisoners before Eid. While taking to CNS, Ruqia Baji who was leading the protest said that India being a signatory to the Geneva Convention on political prisoners has an obligation to respect the rights of prisoners but as with other human rights, New Delhi has trampled this right too and is crushing these inmates with impunity.They demanded release of all political prisoners before Eid.
