Srinagar, June 4: Four paramilitary troopers and three civilians were injured after militants on Monday lobbed a grenade on CRPF vehicle in Pulwama district of south Kashmir.
Official sources told GNS that the militants attacked the vehicle of 182 bn CRPF with the grenade which exploded on roadside near Shaheedi Park at Tahab Chowk.
In the incident, four CRPF men and three pedestrians received minor splinter injuries and have been hospitalized, they said.
The injured troopers have been identified as Anuj Patik, Sumit Kumar, Sunbir Singh and Suresh Kumar. The injured civilians were identified as Shugufta Jan (27) of Litte, Fiza Jan (12) of Washbugh and Arshid Ahmad of Pulwama.
A police officer confirmed the attack and injuries in the incident. (GNS)
