Srinagar, June 5: Four army men were injured after a vehicle they were travelling in plunged into a deep gorge at Chandaji Nallah in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Monday late night.
A police officer told GNS that the army vehicle (truck) of 31 RR skidded off the road and rolled into the Chandaji nallah on Bandipora-Gurez road while negotiating a curve in the area.
The mishap occurred late last night when the vehicle was on the way to Bandipora from Gurez, he said.
All the injured were immediately shifted to nearby hospital where from all of them later taken to army’s 92 base hospital here in Badamibagh where the condition of the two injured is stated to be critical, he said.
A case in this regard has been registered and further investigations taken up, the officer said. (GNS)
