Baramulla, June 12: A programme was being organised by Mutahari Fikri-Wa-Saqafati-Markaz Kashmir in collaboration with Idara imam-i-Hussain Sultanpora on the night of forgiveness “Lailat-ul-Qadar” in Institute of Imam Hussain(AS) Imam bada Sultanpora of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Large number of Muslim worshippers from the whole district participated in Roohani Wa Tarbeyati Workshop Imam Hussain Institute Sultanpora.
They observe the occasion through nightlong special prayers and as faithful spend a night in prayers and worship and seek divine blessings.
Muslims across the world observe Lailat-ul-Qadr on one of the odd nights in the last 10 days of Ramazan and most likely to be the 27th of the holy month.
Numerous religious schoolers Molana Ghulam Hassan Mattoo, inspector Tanzeemul Mukatib Kashmir Molana Manzoor Sahib and Other scholars emphasised on Shia-Sunni unity and stressed on importance of religious tolerance among different sects of Islam.
On the occasion different naats especially by Aashiq Hussain Rather
were recited on the life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Its Pertinent to mention,that in Sultanpora Pattan there is a big library in the name Imam Hussain (AS), which is being considered as the second largest public library in the valley.
