Pertinently, Her work with UB has involved working with multiple disciplines – such as urban planners, public health experts, and geographers – to minimize disruption to housing, food, and water infrastructure, and ultimately reduce human fatality, in seismic zones.
Fayaz is a doctoral candidate at the University of Kashmir where she is completing research under the advisement of Dr. Shakil Romshoo, the Chair of the Department of Earth Sciences at the University of Kashmir.
