Police Station Beerwah Hosts Iftaar Party


Beerwah, June 13: To strengthen Police-Public relations, Station House Officer (SHO) and the concerned Officers of Police Station Beerwah on Wednesday hosted an Iftaar Party for the general public at Police Station Beerwah, a police spokesman said.
A large number of respectable senior citizens, advocates and and several officers from civil administration attended the Iftaar party. Prominent among those who attended the meeting were SDM Beerwah & Tehsildar Beerwah.
The participants applauded the efforts of Beerwah Police and expressed hope that more such initiatives will come up in future, the spokesman added.
During the Iftaar Party, an interaction was held between the Police Officers and General Public with a view to send the message of communal harmony, brotherhood, peace & tranquility in the area. Besides, special arrangements were made for the prayers for particular community.
Speaking on this occasion, SHO Beerwah Nazir Ahmad said that Ramazan is a month for prayers, blessings and forgiveness and added that department has always been serving the people of the state from decades and the motive of these initiatives is to strengthen the relation among police and people.
