Srinagar, June 11: Senior resistance leaders and activists including Mohammad Yousuf Naqash, Javaid Ahmad Mir Chairman JKLF (H), Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri (JKLF), Khawja Firdous Wani (DPM), Imtiaz Ahmad Rishi( YML) Javaid Ahmad Saznawaz(JKLF R), Gazi Javaid Baba (Salvation Movement) ,Imran Ahmad, Mohammad Ayub Dar, Sajad Ahmad Lone, father of Shaheed Tufail Matto and Shaheed Zahid Farooq and dozens others today visited Mazar Shuda Eidgah Srinagar to pay tributes to Shaheed Tufail Ahmad Mattoo on his martyrdom anniversary.
Tufail Matto innocent teenager on his way to school was brutally murdered by the government forces. The leaders and activists present on the occasion paid glowing tributes to the teenage martyr and other martyrs of Kashmir and prayed for their eternal peace.
While speaking on the occasion the leaders said that these martyrs have laid down their lives for a precious cause Right to Self Determination and resolved to continue their mission till it reaches the logical conclusion and said that they will never allow their sacrifices go waste or diluted.
Paying rich tributes to Shaheed Tufail Matto and deceased of 2010, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (G) chairman Syed Ali Geelani has reiterated the pledge to take the mission of martyrs to its logical end. Geelani said “the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs will not be allowed to go waste and their mission will be accomplished at all costs.”
“We will not forget the warm blood of our young martyrs and we will strive hard to achieve the goal for which they have sacrificed their lives,” said Geelani. (KNB)
