Two youth joined militants ranks in Anantnag

Anantnag, June 27: Two youths from south Kashmir’s Anantnag district announced on social media their joining of militant ranks.

A photograph of Dr Burhan Ganai resident of Anantnag town S K Colony, holding an AK 47 rifle has gone viral on social networking site.

Burhan Ganai had gone missing a few days ago and has joined militants group Hizbul Mujahideen on June 24.

Burhan Ganai bachelors degree in physiotherapy according to the depiction on has picture.

Another youth, Junaid Ahmad Bhat son of Ghulam Ahmad Bhat hailing from Hangul Gund area Kokernag in (Islamabad) Anantnag district, has reportedly joined Hizb-Ul-Mujahideen Militant out-fit.

His picture with AK-47 has gone viral on social media. He has been identified as under code name “Abrar Bahi”.

Police sources said that they are ascertaining the authenticity of the picture which has gone viral
